Sabi na nga ba, Rock Star na, eh. I definitely
would ask your autograph, the next time we meet. Any
latest projects you are working on?
Audie R.:
The latest project I put together is "Feel
Good Inc" (formerly Freeze Frame)
which is a top 40, dance party band made up of 6
people. Unlike the 2 previous bands, we don't play
original music and is more of a profitable business
venture. |

Are you the kick-ass vocalist or the guitar
freak?
Audie R.:
In all bands, I either play guitar and/or keyboards
& sing. The funny thing was I never played an
instrument in HS and I always admired those guys
that played in the band during mass. Anyway, If you
guys are in the area, you should check us out. I
promise, you'll have a lot of fun! |

Last question, pare. Any strong advice to our
next generation bosconians?
Audie R.:
I used to make fun of people who gave me this advice
but now I realize how right they were: Always dare
to dream!
Think of where you want to be 5 to 10 years from now
and plan out how you're going to get there, one
stage at a time. Seriously, get a piece of paper
right now and draw a map of your life in stages.
Start like this: "Step 1: Before I can become
________, I must first do ________." ...and so on.
Now let that map guide you and that dream inspire
you in whatever you do! Take it from me, with enough
work and patience, you will get there if you set
your mind to it...I kid you not! You'll be amazed at
what you can do.
However, there's a catch:
1) You have to have the guts to try things out.
You'll never know if you can do it unless you try.
If you fail, so what? Try another approach.
Eventually, one of them will work. Always take
chances.
2) Expect to fail! Trust me, you will at first.
There's just no getting away from it. The question
is: what do you do if you fail. Answer: learn to
accept it then move on and try a different path.
3) Learn to be content and appreciate what you have.
Avoid jealousy. It will make you a much happier
person. And be patient. Nothing happens instantly.
4) Don’t forget the people that helped you get to
where you are and always make new friends. You'll be
glad you did! The more people you know, the better
your chances are in getting to your goal.
5) Dont forget your values. What's the use of being
successful if you have no friends and your family
hates you?
6) Popeye was right! Always eat your vegetables.
7) Do not piss on an electric fence. Remember what
your instructors taught you in shop class: water is
a conductor.
8) Do not spit towards the wind. I learned this the
hard way!
9) I don’t care what you say, a solar-powered flash
light is a bad idea.
10) Lastly, find humor in things. Life is short, you
might as well enjoy it! |

Whoa! That’s very informative. Maybe it’s not yet
too late for me to adopt your advice. I would
like to thank you for giving time to this interview,
sharing your updates, humors, thoughts and insights
with the rest of the batch.
Audie R.:
Thanks din, pare. Also, I'd like to recognize all
the effort you've done in putting this site
together. You're doing a really noble job here and
if it wasn't for you, I probably would've found it
hard to keep in touch with the rest of our
classmates. Again, great job, pare! |
